Summary of Part IV

  1. Relationship regimes as idealized control structures: Each regime specifies a viable set, signed margin, information rule, reciprocity structure, and exit process. Fast affective detection is a testable hypothesis, not assumed infallibility.
  2. Contamination: Gradient conflict becomes contamination when joined by opacity, disagreement, or misrepresentation about the governing regime. Ambiguity is separately measured by posterior entropy.
  3. The ordering principle: Care containing transaction is an objective-precedence rule—transactional optimization subject to participant-viability constraints—not literal set inclusion. Formation order is one possible installer of that rule.

  15. Normative status: Parasitic, mutualistic, and symbiotic are agent-relative structural classifications. Agent-neutral obligation requires an additional welfare axiom, stated rather than derived.
